Clear blue Easy Digital Ovulation Tests are the third prize for the Baby Party Upcoming Giveaway on Joys Of Life. This event is hosted by Pregnancy Forum.

As I decided two baby products for our Baby Party Giveaway, I went for Clear blue Digital Ovulation test - so that ladies that who are trying to conceive take the advantage of the giveaway and get the chance to win too. Now that the product has arrived, here is my review about the product.

My experience:

The cycle of a woman may vary from month to month thus making it a quest to guess the exact timing of ovulation and release of an egg. Making it absolutely difficult to detect your fertile window. These tests are great when you are trying to conceive and would highly recommend over non digital ovulation tests if you are serious about pinpointing time of ovulation, especially when you have irregular menstrual cycles. The tests shows the 2 best days your fertile window during ovulation and tells you the best time best of the release of your mature egg during a cycle. The Clear blue Ovulation tests detects the LH surge (luteinizing hormones) which release before ovulation mostly (24-36) hours before ovulation. Clear blue easy digital tests are 99% accurate in pin pointing ovulation. If you do not get a smiley face in any of the cycle it possibly can be an annovulatory cycle. The test results and description is very simple to use and understand, the results are clear to read. The product is quite expensive but well worth it. I love the smiley faces on these - no more comparing line darkness or non reliable internet cheapies. The product comes with 20 sticks, each stick is individually wrapped so you can keep the rest of the sticks for later use.

Product Description:

Every woman's cycle is unique and most people don’t realize that there are only a few days in a woman’s cycle when intercourse can result in conception – and only 2 days when it is most likely: the day prior to and the day of ovulation. That’s why women turn to ovulation tests for help maximizing their chances for conception. The Clearblue Digital Ovulation Test is an easy-to-use home ovulation test, and is over 99% accurate at detecting the luteinizing hormone (LH) surge. The optical reader interprets your result and gives you a clear smiley face in the result window when the LH surge has been detected, identifying your 2 best days to try for a baby. For women whose cycles vary from month to month, it can be especially challenging to accurately detect the timing of the two most likely days to get pregnant. This 20 count test kit will give you the highest chance of detecting your most fertile days whenever they occur.

Directions To Use:

There are 20 individually wrapped test sticks in the Digital Ovulation One-Month Supply Kit, there’s no need to calculate or guess on your own when to start testing. You can consistently begin testing on a fixed day of your cycle.
  1. Remove the test stick from its wrapper.
  2. Insert the test stick into its holder until it clicks into place. The ready symbol should appear.
  3. Point the Absorbent Tip downward in your urine for 5-7 seconds.
  4. Keep the Absorbent Tip pointing downward or lay the test on a flat surface. After 20-40 seconds the test symbol will begin flashing to tell you that it is working. Replace the cap and wipe off any excess urine.
  5. Wait for 3 minutes your result would appear on the test.
After 3 minutes your results would be something like this. A smiley face would appear when the LH surge is detecting, that means you are ovulating and are in your fertile days.

No smiley face detected when you are not ovulating and not entered your fertile window
